O próprio Paul McCartney escreveu na Club Sandwich (revista do seu antigo clube de fãs): "Nunca pensei eu próprio em gravá-la". Mas esta canção gerou alguns problemas: "Em Londres gerou um grande sururu, porque havia imensa confusão com a venda do catálogo das Northern Songs para a ATV e ainda estava tudo muito nebuloso", contou Luís Pinheiro de Almeida."

So that’s what we did and then put a bit of an echo on it. It’s very free.”"

"This was a version approaching proto-metal. Lennon couldn't decide if he wanted to go the ethereal route, or the stomping one, and famously told George Martin to combine the two versions. This was less than practical.
