"One of rock’s more upsetting and morbid pieces of memorabilia is up for sale again.

The copy of John Lennon and Yoko Ono‘s 1980 album Double Fantasy that Lennon autographed for his assassin just hours before being murdered is being sold by its current owner, with the exchange being brokered by Moments in Time, the same agency that handled its previous sale. According to the New York Daily News, the asking price is $1.5 million.

“It’s the most incredible artifact in rock ‘n’ roll history. There’s no question,” Moments in Time owner Gary Ziamet told the paper. “I am delighted to have the opportunity to sell it once again.”

Discovered behind a planter box after Lennon’s murder and used as a key piece of evidence in the trial, the copy of the album includes police reports and the killer’s “forensically enhanced fingerprints” as well as Lennon’s autograph. Photos of the LP, along with further background information regarding its history, can be seen at the Moments in Time sale listing."

2016-01-30: JL referido na Antena 1, programa "O Amor É"

JL foi referido mais uma vez no programa da Antena 1 (cerca das 11:00) pela letra do "Watching the Wheels" (e pelo álbum "Double Fantasy" intercalado com músicas de Yoko Ono que se ouvia bem saltando as músicas da Yoko).
No final do programa passou a música.
