1968-12: Yer Blues version in a Rolling Stones TV show?

Yes. And a show that did not air (until 1996). And with Clapton, Keith Richards and the Jimi Hendrix drummer.
Interesting...

1969: What did Beatles said when George left?

After the "See you around the clubs" famous not last quote.
There's a book with all those details as well as saying what Paul McCartney said about Yoko on meetings. Civilized.

Quoting:
"An upcoming Beatles biography by John Harris – titled Get Back, which details The Beatles' final few quarrelsome days as a band – has revealed private conversations between Paul McCartney, John Lennon and Yoko Ono following George Harrison's five day leave from the group in 1969.

The book is being released to coincide with the release of Peter Jackson's docuseries of the same name.

Harris, who was handed hundreds of hours of recordings as part of the project, has waded through the content to untangle what really happened during the band's unseen moments. Now, he has shared the story of what really went down when Harrison temporarily walked out of the band on January 10 in 1969 after a difficult morning of butting-heads while working on the tracks Get Back and Two Of Us – when the guitarist apparently quit by simply stating "see you around the clubs". 2021-02: Yoko Ono, George Harrison and... biscuits?

During the official GH IG account happy birthday to Yoko Ono who recently most of the comments there were regarding biscuits. I found some explanation on this here:
https://www.quora.com/George-Harrison-had-very-little-good-to-say-about-Yoko-Ono-What-were-the-incidents-that-led-to-this
Quoting (one of the answers):
"During the Abbey Road sessions, John and Yoko were away during part of the recording because John crashed his car and they had to be hospitalized. When John returned, he had a bed placed in the studio for Yoko who claimed she was still recuperating. The often told story about Yoko getting up to take George’s biscuits that he kept on his amp and George erupting in anger, was not about her taking his biscuit, but that it was clear evidence that she was not really bedridden and having a bed in the studio was just her being manipulative and demanding."

Always learning, all these years after. :)

2019-03: Segunda parte de documentário apareceu (Bed in)

https://mag.sapo.pt/showbiz/artigos/imagens-de-john-lennon-e-yoko-ono-na-cama-reaparecem-ao-fim-de-50-anos

In English:

https://www.bangkokpost.com/lifestyle/music/1654836/unknown-footage-of-john-lennon-yoko-ono-resurfaces

Citando:

Um empregado, Jan Hovers, salvou as imagens in extremis.

https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/news/john-lennon-letter-yoko-ono-two-virgins-album-apple-emi-record-label-a8822261.html

Citando:
"Addressed to “Martin George of Rock Ink”, the auction house cites “noted Beatles expert” Perry Cox in affirming that the letter was sent to the late Beatles producer George Martin.

However, author Mark Lewisohn told The Times that he believes that Lennon was actually responding to the journalist Martin George, who wrote for “a magazine or a weekly underground newspaper called Ink”.

Referring to his and Ono’s 1968 album Two Virgins, Lennon writes: “Yoko and I got ‘Two Virgins’ out in spite of [which is underlined] being past owners of Apple. We made it in May and they f***ed us about till November! Then E. M. I. (who have the real control) wrote warning letters to all their puppets around the world telling them not handle it in any way (this after Sir Joe [Lockwood, chairman of EMI] had told us face to face that he would do ‘everything he could’ to help us with it – and asking us for autographed copies!!).

2019-03: John Lennon capa da Uncut

... com realce para o abandono do Rock e o início do investimento nao muito bem compreendido na arte como arte e outros tipos de música (como a improvisada):
https://www.uncut.co.uk/publication/uncut/uncut-april-2019-issue

Quoting:
"John Lennon, Keith Richards, Anne Briggs and Jenny Lewis all appear in the new issue of Uncut, out on February 21.
Lennon is on the cover, and inside we look at his revolutionary, pivotal 1969: from bed-ins and radical, experimental films to free jazz and acorns.
“He never said to me, ‘I’m doing this to blow up The Beatles,’” says one confidant, “but I felt that was what was happening.”
Keith Richards revisits his solo debut Talk Is Cheap, recorded during that long ’80s hiatus when the Stones’ future looked uncertain to many. Not Richards, of course: “I had no doubt the Stones would regroup,” he says. “They’ve got nowhere else to go!”
Uncut also meets the elusive folk singer Anne Briggs for a very rare and frank discussion of her life and talents. “I don’t know who I am, I don’t know what I am,” she tells us, “but I am.”
Jenny Lewis takes us through her finest albums to date, from Rilo Kiley’s debut Take Offs And Landings to her new solo album On The Line, while Edwyn Collins invites us up to his home in the remote north of Scotland to discuss the local herring industry, beachside epiphanies and his new album, Badbea. “It does look back a little more than I’m used to,” admits Collins.
In our An Audience With feature, Robert Forster answers your questions on The Go-Betweens’ legacy, bunking up with The Birthday Party and his close shave with hairdressing.
Steve Marriott’s ex-bandmates reveal the full story of Humble Pie, from the bad decisions to bad behaviour of this heavy ’70s supergroup."

1971-10: John Lennon e Yoko Ono na TV

The TV show:

https://youtu.be/cbb-j03ByOY

https://faroutmagazine.co.uk/remembering-john-lennon-and-yoko-onos-on-tv-show-free-time-from-1971/

Citando:
"

John Lennon and Yoko Ono found themselves in some curious positions with the pursuit of their art. Whether it’s in front of the world’s news naked in their bed or screaming into microphones to try and make music, the pair weren’t shy about sharing. So when they were offered the opportunity to take over an hour of television on TV station WNET they jumped at the chance.

The station opened its doors on October 14, 1971 to John and Yoko and gave it’s broadcast to Yoko Ono, John Lennon, and Jonas Mekas’ performance of excerpts from Ono’s “Of a Grapefruit in the World of Park.” The curious performance offers a glimpse into the working mind of John and Yoko. It’s a strange and liberating place to be."

2019-02: As discussões em Let it be

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6658955/Beatles-war-truth-explosive-rivalries-tore-band-apart.html

Citando:
"We'll be faced with a crisis,' Paul frets.

'When I'm up against the wall, Paul, you'll find me at my best. I think I've got Sunday off,' says John.

'I hope you can deliver.'

'I hope was a little rock and roller, Sammy with his mammy,' mocks John, falling into word play.

There was nothing more that Paul could say.

'I think we've been very negative since Mr Epstein passed away,' Paul reflected, probably to director Michael Lindsay-Hogg, unaware that he was being recorded. 'We probably do need a central daddy figure to say, 'Come on. It's nine o'clock. Leave the girls at home.' '

But John wasn't going to leave his new girl at home. So, Paul was walking on eggshells, acutely aware of what might happen if he, or the others, complained too loudly.

'There are only two things to do,' we hear him reasoning. 'One is to fight and to get The Beatles back to being four people without Yoko, and to ask her to sit down at board meetings. The other is just to accept that she's there, because there is no way that John is going to split with Yoko for our sakes. He's going overboard. He always goes overboard.

'If it came to the push between Yoko and The Beatles it would be John for Yoko. John would just say to us: 'Okay. I'll see you then.' And we're not wanting that to happen.'"

2018-12: Gravações áudio de diário de Yoko Ono

The audio was discovered by cultural historian Simon Wells who has, throughout his career, dedicated his time to writing multiple books on The Beatles, cult films, Charles Manson, The Stones and more.

Having uploaded the audio to YouTube, Wells noted: “During the early days of her relationship with John Lennon, Yoko Ono would dictate her thoughts on life with Lennon into her own personal recorder – presumably to be given to John later.

“This, often personal, tape was made during the overdub session for ‘Revolution 1’ at EMI Studio number 3 on 4th June 1968. Parts of Yoko’s tape would be later used in the sound collage ‘Revolution 9’.”"

2018-12: Como Yoko perseguiu

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6460947/How-Yoko-Ono-relentlessly-pursued-John-Lennon.html

Citando:
"John Lennon became mesmerized by Yoko Ono after she set her sights on him, writes author Ray Connolly in new book  Being John Lennon: A Restless Life

Yoko was aggressive, constantly badgering John with letters and appearing at places he was

Yoko broke into 'the orbit of the Beatles' after meeting John at the Indica Gallery in London, where she was preparing for a show the next day

'From the very beginning of her career, she understood the power of networking and self-promotion; especially self-promotion,' according to Connolly

John 'felt that she was the star and he the audience', never had he met anyone like this 'odd little Japanese woman dressed in her black intellectual's uniform'

Yoko was writing letters to John, getting under his skin and was everywhere he was, even showing up at a meeting with a yogi in the Indian Himalayas

Yoko and John became inseparable and he insisted Yoko be at all sessions - inhibiting to the other Beatles and driving a wedge between John and Paul

Their relationship became strained by 1972 and Yoko decided to get John a mistress - May Pang, 22, a Chinese girl who had been working for the couple"

2018-11: Documentário sobre o Imagine

Sobre o recente documentário sobre o Imagine:
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/tv/2018/11/24/john-yoko-us-sky-review-lennons-message-peace-love-people-power/

Citando:
"The spirit of revolution was alive and well in John & Yoko: Above Us Only Sky (Channel 4), a documentary celebrating John Lennon’s peace, love and occasionally anger-laden album Imagine and, in particular, the much-admired title track.

This wasn’t so much the untold story of the making of a classic album as a fascinating addendum to an iconic story which had already been told in the companion film released by Lennon, Yoko Ono and director Steve Gebhardt in 1972, and fleshed out even more in Andrew Solt’s tribute Gimme Some Truth."

2018-10: Filme sobre John & Yoko a ser negociado

https://nit.pt/coolt/cinema/realizador-big-little-lies-prepara-filme-john-lennon-yoko-ono

Quoting:

Citando:
"John Lennon's widow Yoko Ono has sued a bar in Germany forcing it to change its name from 'Yoko Mono'.

Bar owner Nima Garous-Pour has been using the name for nearly 20 years in Hamburg, where the Beatles first found fame.

But lawyers for Yoko claimed that he had been using her name and identity without legal permission.

Judges at the city's regional court agreed - and ordered Garous-Pour to remove the sign, even though he had already shortened the name to simply 'Mono'."
