1969-01: Apple Studios Session (January 29, 1969) (YouTube)

Interesting things like John Lennon tying his shoes during Let it Be sessions. Fun to see after all these years:

2020-11: Greg Bisonete talks Ringo

Well Greg is one of the greatest drummers of all times. But he understands Ringo. You know he does when he talks about Ringo like this:
https://www.facebook.com/147910631975223/posts/3076630685769855/

PS: Of course he couldn't talk any other way. He's collaborating with Ringo for more than 11 years (believing his words). But the guy gives some great insight on the greatness of Ringo.
PS.2: And this is my comment to the post:
Ringo's the man. Forget Bonham. OK, Bonham (&others) has its virtues but Ringo has the rythm. I am kind of sad still today that Beatles were overshadowed in the end of the 60's by show-off bands (with its merits I reckon, but...). But Ringo did had what a drummer needs to have: good sound, taste and... Rythm. In the end the great survivors of the test of time are The Beatles, no-one more.

Quoting:
"Paul McCartney recording ‘Blackbird’ at Abbey Road Studios, June 11 1968
⠀
He recounts writing this powerful song as a response to racial tensions escalating in the United States during the spring of 1968. “I was in Scotland playing on my guitar, and I remembered this whole idea of "you were only waiting for this moment to arise" was about, you know, the black people's struggle in the southern states, and I was using the symbolism of a blackbird. It's not really about a blackbird whose wings are broken, you know, it's a bit more symbolic."

2019-09: Paul McCartney em novo álbum de Ringo

Citando:
"Ringo said: “Jack [Douglas, produtor do Double Fantasy de John Lennon] asked if I ever heard The Bermuda Tapes, John’s demos from that time…And I had never heard all this. The idea that John was talking about me in that time before he died, well, I’m an emotional person. And I just loved this song. I sang it the best that I could. I do well up when I think of John this deeply. And I’ve done my best. We’ve done our best."
