James Taylor escreveu a sua biografia e refere os Beatles que o contrataram para a Apple e tocaram no primeiro disco dele, a audição com George e Paul e o empréstimo da frase "Something in the way she moves" que ele sempre considerou acidental:

São bem conhecidas as relações entre Elvis e os Beatles: Numa das viagens aos EUA o encontro proporcionou-se, assim como com Dylan que os iniciou em drogas (das leves). Mais tarde e numa fase mais tardia da sua carreira, a relação de forças já estava provavelmente invertida e a prova disso é que até o Rei se vergou e gravou o "Something" (único single #1 dos Beatles escrito por Harrison).
