Is it normal that a band that ended on 1970 still gets radio airplay and frequent references in the social media almost every day here in Europe? This is a very personal and somewhat infomal logbook of some of these references to The Beatles as a proof of their everlasting relevance and continuing influence over the years. As if they needed. Also includes highlights of promotions and some additional info on the band. Mainly in Portuguese (sorry guys).

2020-04: Os Beatles são melhores que os Stones...
“[The Stones] are rooted in the blues. When they are writing stuff, it has to do with the blues. We had a little more influences,” McCartney said. “There’s a lot of differences, and I love the Stones, but I’m with you. The Beatles were better.”
Now, in an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music, Jagger was asked what he made of the comments. You can watch a clip below, with the full interview available at 5pm BST tonight (April 24)."

2019-06: A canção que os Beatles deram aos...
... Rolling Stones? Editada mais tarde no With the Beatles:
https://faroutmagazine.co.uk/the-beatles-the-rolling-stones-i-wanna-be-your-man-story/
Citando:
"McCartney had originally penned the song before Lennon took over and finished the track while Macca was supposedly in the corner of a room talking to Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. Stones historian, Bill Janowitz, claimed that Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham “had almost literally bumped into Lennon and McCartney as they stepped out of a cab” and ushered them into the studio with Jagger and Richards.
Apparently, after having lunch together, the topic of the Stones lack of material for a new single had arisen and, by sheer coincidence, Lennon and McCartney had just finished up completing ‘I Wanna Be Your Man’ earlier that day at De Lane Lea Studio."

1963-04-14: Beatles conhecem Rolling Stones
https://observador.pt/2018/04/14/ha-55-anos-os-beatles-descobriam-os-rolling-stones/
Citando:

Citando:
"In McCartney's letter to the man that The Beatles covered and admired in their early days, and continued to praise, he said: “As you know, Chuck was a huge influence on me and my companions.” The Stones sent a white floral bouquet in the shape of a guitar, for which the accompanying card said: “Thanks for the inspiration.”"

2014-11-22: AILH e AHDN na Antena 1
Antena 1 passou o AILH e AHDN dos Beatles (Album "A Hard Day's Night") pelas 16:50 seguido do "Roundabout" dos Yes (Álbum "Fragile").
2014-11-23: Programa na Antena 1 com 2 músicas do AHDN
O programa de ontem da Antena 1 (De Costa a Costa) repetiu passando de novo o "And I love Her" e o "A Hard Day's Night".
Neste programa passaram também Pink Floyd (Louder Than Words - 2014, Us and Them - 1973), Led Zeppelin (No Quarter - 1973), Doors (People Are Strange - 1967) e 1 dos Rolling Stones e Yes (Roundabout - 1971). Uma primeira parte de luxo de facto.
