It’s Been 50 Years Since The Beatles Final Concert « Radio.com
Interessante a versão do "If I Needed Someone" de GH (#3 no set list) e o chatter entre as músicas.
Is it normal that a band that ended on 1970 still gets radio airplay and frequent references in the social media almost every day here in Europe? This is a very personal and somewhat infomal logbook of some of these references to The Beatles as a proof of their everlasting relevance and continuing influence over the years. As if they needed. Also includes highlights of promotions and some additional info on the band. Mainly in Portuguese (sorry guys).

Citando:
"Paul McCartney tweeted his admiration, saying “Tony Barrow was a lovely guy who helped us in the early years of The Beatles. He was super professional but always ready for a laugh. He will be missed but remembered by many of us.”
So far, there has been no statement from Beatles bandmate Ringo Starr.
Barrow started his professional career at the age of 17, writing record reviews for the Liverpool Echo. He later began working as a promoter for jazz and skiffle groups in Crosby, a suburb north of Liverpool."

2016-05-15: Tony Barrow (Beatles PR) dies at 80
Sad to report the death of Tony Barrow, three days after turning 80; PR man to the Beatles (1962–68) and others in an illustrious career.

RIP.
